worlds...
Would they be the same? Or would the wizarding world of America, like a lot of the Americans did after the Revolution, decide to do things differently?
Like the modes of travel. Would they use the Floo network, or would they have created something completely different?
And would the floo network be trans-Atlantic? Would there be forms and other things that an intercontinental traveler, who can not apparate, have to fill out, similar to Airport Security?

I'd assume that in America there is a similiar wizarding tradition.
Just for simplicity I'm assuming the server will go the route that there is a few US wizarding schools, but the best school is still Hogwarts, which is why US kids appear there.

No, because:
1.) We have a hack drunk for divination.
2.) We have a monster teaching Care of Magical Creatures.
3.) We have an ex-DE teaching potions.
4.) We have a moron, pansy clown who teaches DADA.
5.) We border a forest full of incredibly dangerous monsters.
6.) We have incredibly dangerous monsters IN the school.
7.) We have a huge amount of diversity: BOTH good and evil represented.
8.) We consistently and assuredly put our students in repeated danger.
9.) We have a population of undead living in our school.
10.) We have the words, "Hoggy-hoggy Hogwarts" in our anthem.
11.) We have monsters that feed on happiness guaring our gates.
12.) We cater to pre-highschool students.
13.) Our pre-highschool students are "toughened" by our 7th years.
14.) Our school is impossible to navigate without a map.
15.) Our school is the home of the powerful Lord Voldemort.
16.) We like tea.
17.) We have Priggo.

Well, I don't recall if it were ever said by JKR.
But in my opinion, the American wizarding world would have died down after the Blaire Witch Project, thus the fall of the possible Blaire Academy.. which, if put back up would have NUMEROUS restrictions and such in place to stop something like it from occurring again.
Or, if the Academy wasn't put back up, I would think those Wizard's that did survive are no Homeschooled, and any Muggle-borns are well, left to their own devices in a way.
*coughs* Yeah.

What Tomar said is why I mention the fact that they're still around. >_>;;
Otherwise I'd just say they all died. Haha.
<3<3<3
Oh and also, if yer thrown off a cliff, why would they throw you with a broom?
