Ugh, please... don't even mention the whole 'open-mindedness' thing when it isn't aboslutely required, some of us just don't like things for various reasons, while others do (Although I don't approve of people joking about it like that). Sometimes that can change with some experience, in some cases it won't. Talk a lot like that when it isn't needed, and if your words reach the right person, they could think that they aren't opened-minded enough by others standards, and that could hurt them in the end.
