He was born in Norwich’s hospital. He continues to return to his home in the school holidays if there is no alternative.

Parents
Both his mother and father are muggles. His father, a 52 year old scientist, was always quick to press the importance of knowledge upon him. Paul, having great respect for his father, took this message to heart and strives to learn as much as he can. His mother, a 44 year old psychiatric nurse at Norwich’s psychiatric hospital, always taught him the value of treating people with respect and valuing each individual for their unique talents and merits. Sadly, Paul didn’t quite take to this message in the same way he did to his father’s.

Historical bits and pieces
Paul was born at the Norfolk at Norwich Hospital in the early hours of the morning. His parents (See above) could barely afford to keep him so he was often clothed in second hand or highly discounted clothes. He never really had any posessions of importance or sgnifiance through out his youth and had no friends. When he reached schooling age, he attended Fairways First School and was something of an outcast. Ignored for his lack of people skills, poor appearance and the various strange things that always seemed to happen around him. Despite all this, Paul remained a cheerful and happy child and excelled in his muggle schoolwork. Life continued much in the same way until his eleventh birthday when and owl swooped down into his bedroom and delivered him a letter that would change his life forever. Paul and his parents were over-joyed and so, despite their lack of funds, they rejected Hogwarts' funding for poor families and scraped together what money they could to buy his school gear. When he got to Hogwarts... Well, that you can find out from those who knew him at that time.

Appearance
Paul’s skin is incredibly pale and his grey eyes are always accompanied by the dark bags that signify a lack of sleep. If he got a tan and some sleep, he would probably be reasonably good looking but that just isn’t going to happen. His shoulder-length black hair just serves to highlight how pale he is. His father often used to jokingly state that if Paul stayed outside in the sun he might be lucky enough turn white…. Or burst in to flames and die.
Paul always wears battered and worn robes that are covered in dried blood and stains from various potions. Yet, strangely, his cloaks and shoes are always perfectly clean and look like they've just been bought.

Favourite Subjects
Charms, Transfiguration and Potions. He would like to go on to teach any of these subjects.

Least Favourite Subjects
History of Magic, Arithmancy and Divination.

Interests
Amazingly talented in all three of his favourite subjects, Paul usually conducts his work and research in these subjects. Paul holds very few interests outside learning. Though, people like Benjamin Cordin would probably argue that he is interested in satisfying his own ego by beating up small children and mercilessly slaughtering their beloved pets.

Likes
The emotional and physical suffering of "lesser" people and animals. Dark blues and black. Reading, working, experimenting and generally expanding his knowledge. Priggo Seville. Impressive spellwork. Snape's behaviour and mannerisms. Priggo Seville (again). His battered old robes.

Dislikes
Public displays of stupidity. People who don't look up to him. Broomsticks and Quidditch. Gryffindors. Hufflepuffs. Professors Lockhart and Trelawney. Nina Hymndust. Life sentences in Azkaban for use of the Unforgivable curses. Animals. People. Green.

Personality
Paul refuses to identify himself as good or evil for the time being. He, like Priggo, is definitely a jerk and feels no desire to help others with their physical, psychological or educational problems. He is a horrible show off, often using magic just for the sake of it. He doesn’t care about people in the slightest and wouldn’t think twice about seriously injure/kill most people if they stood in the way of something he strongly desired. If seeking to insult Paul or get beaten down, one simply has to insult his muggle heritage, magical power or intelligence as they are the three things he values most.

Priggo Seville: Something of a secret crush

Nina Hymndust: If only she'd throw herself under a train, the world would be one unpleasant haircut better off... and the removeal of the rest of her would be good, too

Benjamin Cordin: A total joke. His constant crusade to uphold the rules with, in time, cause him to have an unpleasant encounter with Paul's wand.

Joki Wilde: Strange girl with bizaare, if fascinating, interests.

Sliver Vortec: Unnatural obsession with snakes. Potentially has uses but it remains to be confirmed.

Drathil Vortec: Irritating.

Chance Ferrin: A most unpleasant fellow. In need of a good torturing. Not a bad looker though.

Gaius Barker: Strange. Something about the fact that Paul can't find something to hate about him is really, -really, annoying.

Tomar Webber: Could be a fine and likeable young man.... if only he wasn't a Gryffindor.

Everyone I haven't yet specifically added: Chances are that he probably hates you. No, you haven't done anything wrong.

Views on the staff
Professor Albus Dumbledore: An incredible wizard. To be that powerful is something Paul dreams of. However, Paul knows that Dumbledore is just a man and will die and decay just like everyone else.

Professor Filius Flitwick: Very useful in furthering Paul's knowledge and a nice enough man. Sadly, Paul would not hesitate to do whatever he had to to get his hands on Flitwick's job.

Professor Minerva McGonagal: Firm but fair. Very good at Transfiguration. Sadly, Paul would not hesitate to do whatever he had to to get his hands on her job.

Professor Pamona Sprout: She may be good with plants but her talents with a wand are seldom seen. Paul considers her something of a nobody.

Professor Severus Snape: Another highly talented wizard that Paul has a lot of time for. Paul would not hesitate to do whatever he had to to get his hands on his job.

"Professor" Rubeus Hagrid: A joke. The most regretable excuse for a living organism to pass through the castle doors.

Professor Septima Vector: Likes to keep her students busy. Just a shame that the subject is so appauling.

Professor Aurora Sinastra: Another good teacher of a bad subject.

Professor Sibyll Trelawney: In need of a tragic accident involving a bridge, a deep lake and some concrete shoes.

Professor Cuthbert Binns: Dull but knowledgable. Anyone who can remember that much about so many different events has to be considered impressive.

Professor Gawain: A good subject and a good teacher. Paul only bothered attending because it was an easy qualification.

Argus Filch: The two seem to have something of an intense mutual dislike after Filch took his wand and tried to curse him with it. ("DESTROYO!")

Irma Pince: Makes using the library, one of Paul's favourite places, a rather unpleasant experience. He gets particularly awful surges of rage every time he sees her skulking between the rows of shelves, jinxing books and shooting suspicious looks at him.

Poppy Pomfrey: An impressive healer with a kind heart. Such a caring attitude could easily be a potential and exploitable weakness.
