Alright, I tried to be lenient. I really did.

But I'm just letting -everyone- know before they start complaining:

If you come onto The original Harry Potter server, and solicit
our players, advertising either the second server that was created, or any
other server, you will be banned.

I've been getting reports of people jumping on the server, spamming tells
to people about how the other server is better. Good for you, it could be
better. But don't bring your ads to our home. If you do so, you'll be
banned.

If you use the forums to solicit players, you'll be banned.

If you come onto the server and start telling everyone, "Hey, this server
is only a test server for the one we have going," you will be banned.

If you have any complaint about this, feel free to post it here, and we can
discuss it. But until then, show some respect.

Edit:] If you agree with what I'm posting, I'd appreciate you voicing so
here. I'd like to think I'm not the only one who thinks that this is nuts,
what's going on.

This goes for DMs of that server, as well... such as Paul (adam) and
Natalie. Do what you want, but don't DM there, and come onto this server
bothering everyone by trying to draw them away.

When I informed Natalie of this, she already made it pretty clear to me
that she's been recruiting.

Yeah, we get it. You're a DM now on the other server. Cool. It's obvious
you enjoy the power of it. But please, don't let that pollute what we have.

I think this whole affair is a massive slap in the face to the man who so generously saved the mod during its uncertain future. It makes me sick to think people could be so inconsiderate.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Almost everyone who plays on our server has made a decision by now. Jumping over and spamming us with tells about how 'great' their server is... well, that's just harassment.

And for the newer players who just 'stumbled' across it. Well they -could- have stumbled across your server, so its all fair =P

And saying that it's a 'test server' for the other one? That's just plain WRONG.

I do believe that returning to someplace that has been home to so many of us over the years and then spamming it, even with the best intentions, is little more than childish rudeness. These people would have been the first to shout out on the forums that people should be banned for doing something like this. Hyprocracy at its finest.
