When I think of a Bard... I think of a popular leader. He would have dozens of tales about him. The bards group would be boosted in morale to have such a 'hero' on their side... while the enemy are all quite worried by this popular hero.

Bards aren't the famous ones. They make other people famous. Skalds write stories about their own heroic combatant efforts, yes, but normal bards write stories about other people. That's kind of what a bard is.

Some funny flash animations I found on wizards.com about 4th edition.

NOTE: You'll need a D&D Insider account to view content. Its free for the time being...

Interview with the Beholder

Interview with the Gnome and Tiefling

The gnome kind of reminds you of Drathil Vortec, no?

*edits to avoid double-posting*
EDIT:
Who the hell plays Goblins!? Seriously? I know they can be comic relief on some occasions but from what I've been hearing lately they're a commonly played race. *cries*

Well, I've never played 2nd Ed. since I started at 3.0. Though from the few 2nd Ed. books I've read and/or skimmed through it seems pretty nice. My grandfather has been playing since 1st Ed. Though he has all of his 1st Ed. pamphlets locked up. Yes pamphlets, that's how 1st Ed. was printed for those who didn't know.

Maybe one day I'll find a group that is willing to play and teach me 2nd Ed. :P
