Tough choice...
They both have advantages and disadvantages.
Sorcs have all the spells available on the level, but once you run out of castings, you run out for every spell at that level.
Wizards, on the other hand have unlimited spells, per level (you can learn 'em, if you're a generalist) but only a limited number of slots you can use. But you memorize two different spells multiple times, you only run out of the one spell, rather than all the spells on the level.
Mmmm...
