[[ The Poll is up. Keep in mind that this is all a -suggestion-. If a DM already has something planned, or wants to do something else, these idea's are null and void, though we can always do a player hosted Drinking Contest. Remember, they are suggestions not demands. ]]
St. Patrick's Day is approaching, and we need plans. Yes this is very early, but better to start now and gather ideas, than be caught with out our green clothing on.
So let's get down to business, I want a general idea of what everyone wants out of St. Patrick's day at Hogwarts.
Questions to ask yourself:
1. What do I think would be the -best- thing to do for St. Patrick's Day?
2. Second best?
3. Would I like to attend a St. Patrick's Day dance or gathering of some sort?
4. Should there be any events in places -besides- Hogwarts?(example: Hogsmeade)
5. Is there anything else I can think of that would make this day completely rock?
(( I'll be collecting information from your posts people, so be serious. I want to know what we should plan for St. Patrick's. I'll be gathering information until the 7th of march, which gives us 10 days to complete the overall preparations. So get your thinking caps on, and start throwing ideas at me here! ))
St. Patrick's Day Celebration Committee: ((If you would like to sign up, just PM me or talk to John in game. Please sign up ;_; ))
John Dranco(me) ((I'm so alone ;_; ))

Ok so far I'm hearing drinking contests, which seems to be the most prominent idea, but keep throwing them out there guys.

pinch contest? maybe an rp class of irish magic? which would include knowledge of how to deal with various fairies and what to do if you get caught by one.

Hmm...alright keep coming with ideas, we're getting some good ones, and the drinking contest will have to be held, very likely, off school grounds. ((on a side note I will put a poll up on the fifth and let people vote via poll on which option they would rather see))

You can't really control what, if anything, the DMs will do. So it'll be player-held events, unless the DMs by some lucky coincidence decide to help out. It's possible, but we'll have to wait and see. Of course, I may be wrong and you've already planned it out with the DMs.

((This is more a suggestion of what we'd like to see, its nothing definite. If it were a sure thing I'd have said so, but as I said, it's a suggestion.))

Umm...maybe its just me, but don't you think there is a problem with a school hosting a drinking contest? Unless its butterbeer we're talking about, but I'm not sure if that's what most of you mean.
