Nice!
One warning though! The castle itself was horribly built. You'll find that
things that are east one screen will inexplicably be in a different direction
on another.
Have fun!
P.S. - Looks like a Zelda map. O.O

You will also find that things will start horribly overlapping even on the same floor.

Hmm it would be cool if the stairs, like in the books would change place, and that can be done with random transitions, yeah cool.

Thanks, I'll be scouting the castle now and then and if you want to ever submit some maps it'd be happy with it. But it has to face the black ground so there is no transparent.

Also, I really, really don't want to seem like a jerk. But so that it isn't
brought up once you have your nifty map finished; Astromery?

A more important question is: Do we want maps of the castle on the forums? We've never considered it before—even when Willow was doing some of his meticulous work.

Well, it would be nice if it was a link, instead of a picture. It's horribly.. big.

Amusingly, I had already mapped out most of the school for my own reference.
Much like I have excel sheets of all the homework and text copies of most of the books.
I personally encourage everyone to do their own research and explore the school rather than relying on someone else's maps or research.
Or at the very least, find someone in game and make it a part of RP.
(Heck, if I were at Hogwarts IRL I'd likely spend a -lot- of my time exploring.)

*you're
And she didn't even mention having the schedules and payroll of the
entire staff mapped out, too.

I like the idea of providing maps, or at least a basic floor plan to help us out. I've made maps on my own... and still get lost. So, we can provide it and those who chose not to use them, great... but it's an option, at least for those of us who are directionally challenged.

I did a little exploring with my test character and I ended up getting slaughtered like a Jawa facing Imperial Troops...and I wasn't even in the dungeon!
