And I'm scared out of my wits for her.
I'm hoping it's something simple.

What's she in for?
If you're not uncomfortable talking about it.

She was up all night, loosing blood via BM's... I'm hoping it's just a bleeding ulcer, but my luck it's going to be much worse.

Ouch.
I'm really sorry about that.
I know how much it can hurt when a loved one is in a situation like that.
I'm sure I speak for many others on here when I say you have my sympathies, and I'm sure your mom will pull through just fine.

It's horrible when stuff like this happens. Just over a year ago, my Grandmama died due to cancer in her lungs and brain. That very month my mother had to have x-rays taken of her lungs since doctors were trying to figure out what she was sick with. We thought little of it, until they told her there was something unusual in the x-ray of her lungs. That sent us into a panic, after what had just happened to my Grandmama at that point. We only found out a month or two later that it was nothing.
I'll pray that it's something very small, and that your mother ends up well and you get answers, as I know what it's like to be in the position of worrying with no answers.

Likewise, Frey.

Mom is feeling better, well enough to complain about what's lacking in her care packages.
Went to see her, today, and she's ambulatory, and going to the bathroom, constantly, which is apparantly what the doctors want. =/ They haven't told her anything, though, which is worrisome.
She asked that I bring her food, mints, and/or gum, tomorrow.
