So far all of these jokes suck.
Though I must admit that IGN has played the best April Fools with the Zelda movie trailer.

The day a Zelda movie is made is the day I give up my plans to start a
virtual reality Harry Potter game with Seril. Seriously. That's one of many
video game/comic book movies that seriously doesn't need to be made.

In fact, that shouldn't be made. That's right. I said it.

And btw, the funniest April Fool's joke was the rumor of a Final Fantasy 7
remake. So many fanboys were crying the morning after.

I have to agree with Nik on this.

IMO I think movie renditions of video games need to stop. So far all video games that have been turned into movies suck. Even all the way back to the Super Mario Brothers movie. (That's the earliest video game movie I remember watching)

All these movies are money grabbers that don't care that they slaughter an image and too stupid to come up with something original anymore.
