I don't know if Arachne would have one or not. It's likely that her parents would have them... But she having one, personally? Not so sure.

Maybe this thread is just mostly for those character who RP their character's parents as dead? I mean, why else would anyone bring a house elf to Hogwarts?

Thats what I thought you could RP out if needed, you can bring your elf to school (if you want) as long as he helps around Hogwarts, so he wasn't like a distraction or anything. *shrugs*
