Rumor has spread that a seventh year named Rhea Maltrix recently had a mental breakdown in the Hufflepuff girl's dorm. Rumors range from her collapsing in tears for no reason and then falling unconsious to her coming in extremely upset during curfew and when asked what was wrong, hexing a younger Hufflepuff and having to be dragged away. All of the variations do have three facts in common, she had a breakdown in the girl's dorm at curfew, she ended up unconsious, and she was sent to the hospital wing. Though many will swear she's going to be sent to Mungo's for mental instability.

Rumour has it that Drogo has grown roots, and is now physically stuck to the South Western corner of the Entrance Hall. It is unknown whether this is true or not, as he hasn't been seen leaving it for quite a while.

Rumors start to spread about the missing Professor Flittersworth. Rumors vary in many shapes and sizes. Some of the more noticeable ones:

Professor Flittersworth was sacked by the Ministry because he wasn't human.

Professor Flittersworth was mistaken for a small bird by Mrs. Norris and eaten alive.

Professor Flittersworth gave up his profession to go live with his kin in the Forbidden Forest.

Professor Flittersworth was accidently killed by Professor Lockhart in one of his many fairy accidents.

Amber Ramsay and Alexis Muune are both in the hospital wing. They are both awake a lot of the time, but completely unresponsive. Rumors spread that they have been kissed by dementors, a rumor which does in fact perfectly fit their current state.

Madam Pomfrey will only reply that she and the staff are "doing everything we can," but her underlying tone seems rather hopeless. She will not confirm nor deny any speculation as to what happened.

Syrra Heskarma, Tom Summers, and Emily Hodgkins have been put in the Hospital Wing from being attacked by Connor Pierce. Rumours are that the fight was started from Connor calling them '[Jinx].'

Rumors run around that it's Liss!!!

Rumors spread of a great fight in the Entrance hall mostly involving Slytherins, and at least one Ravenclaw. Rumors have it that one student ended up frozen on the floor and the Slytherin female prefect ended up in a fist fight with several other students while wearing nothing but her skivvies.

Point loss for both Slytherin and Ravenclaw were heavy.

A past rumor resurfaces...

Sierra Tillery, who has had multiple boyfriends who have all disappeared or seemingly attempted suicide, is rumored to either be cursed, or killing them off slowly.

The only known survivor, thus far, is Jason Ringer, who is rarely seen, and remains in the Hospital wing. Some say he works such long shifts for his own safety.

A rumor is being spread that Peeves the poltergeist is a bad poltergeist

There are also some first years who are asking what "Quantum Physics" means.
