Verita Datten sat quietly on the plane she had taken from the U.S. Because she had family members who died and wed very close in dates, she had been gone from Hogwarts indefinitely to attend funerals and weddings. Add in a couple of baby showers and then a bit of fun in the places she had stayed, and you have her time gone. She sighed a bit, hoping that she hadn't missed too much. She thought 'At least I learned to knit properly', as she smiled at her almost finished scarf and completely finished hat. She would miss being home, but she enjoyed learning magic so much. Once she got back from the U.S., she'd find a hidden place and then Apparate to Hogsmeade.
