There is a rumor going around that prior curfew on the night of the full moon, several kids were seen running through the Entrance Hall wearing gray and yellow uniforms. According to rumor they left grounds immediately without incident.

Also, someone adds onto the rumour, that they were all wearing ugly uniforms, and accompanied by some ugly toad woman earlier that night.

Another rumor states that some of the students believe that Professor McGonigall has been kidnapped and replaced by an impostor, during the werewolf incident, and that it is a plot by the London Academy to close Hogwarts, or have the parents so convinced that Hogwarts is so unsafe that it's fit only for "mudbloods".

A small organization has started. But when asked about it, the only response is "The first and second rule is I cannot talk about it."

Shifty are the eyes of the gambler...

Buttons start to appear pinned onto students' robes throughout the halls of Hogwarts. Normally the button simply flashes "Connor Pierce," especially in the presence of a professor, but then can also be seen flashing one of the following:

"Slytherin's Littlest Hero."
"Almost a Winner."
"Number Two" and also flashes an image of a commode.
"Teachers' Pet" and flashes an image of Connor looking surly.
"Stone Cold Duelist" and flashes an image of Connor looking petrified like a statue.

Buttons are easily obtained and seem to be distributed within each of the four houses, even if Slytherin does seem to have fewer of them floating around.

Yesterday, many students saw "that winged kid" carrying "the Ravenclaw Prefect girl" through the Entrance Hall. According to reports, she was -badly- injured, quite near death. With a lot of sheer luck and as a testament to Madam Pomfrey's expertise, Mary survived.

*Rumor might have been spread around that Sammael got savagely beaten to a pulp after challenging a student a duel. Apparently from sources telling the story, the Student disrupted civil conversation and Sam challenged him and went to the Dueling Room. Reports from Students say that the Boy who fought Sam decided to just rush up and beat the crap out of him. Sam being the bigger man stood there and took the onslaught. He was very badly injured and taken to the Hospital Wing.*

Witnessed by Mary as well as a host of other students, it seems Peeves has had fun making a serious mess in school, spreading around household ingredients. Reports say Filch was none to happy, as usual, and spent ages cleaning it up.

Malaclaws? Is that the wizarding equivalent of crabs?

Rumors have slowly spread that during the white kitten powder incident, Mary Maywell acted quite weird, almost hysterical, in the Great Hall after. Shrieking to fellow students, she was ranting frustrated about things. One thing several students overheard, was her speaking about Wolfsbane Potion. Some have dismissed this as a sudden interest in potions class, which with her normally low interest for the subject certainly is hysterical. Others are insisting she must be a werewolf, while yet others scratch it down to the maddening effects of the powder.
