We are still looking into adding HTML back onto the forums. We understand that there are a lot of posts affected by the html going away. In patricular bios and such. While we work to get HTML back up (hopefully), there are some ways you can correct your HTML posts. UPDATE: HTML probably will not get added back in. -Calan
I have added a "center" BBCode for centering text on a page, as well as left and right:
Note: using "default" for height and width as in the example above will not display properly in some browsers. When possible, use actual values for everything or some people may not see your image
The "flash" BBCode can actually be used to add YouTube and imeem to your posts. I am providing an example below on how to embed a YouTube video, but imeem works exactly the same way.
This is the html you get from YouTube when you want to embed, with the important parts highlighted:
In the above example, width=425 height=344 URL=http://www.youtube.com/v/GuigcXvcy1A&hl=en&fs=1 (NOTE: Change the height to 25 on YouTube videos if you want audio only)
This is the BBcode: [flash=width,height]URL[/flash]
Simply fill in the width, height, and URL and you get:

I edited the first post of this thread to explain the new "extimg" BBCode.
Can't we still just use img?

Yes, the standard "img" BBCode is still available, the "extimg" is an extended "img" BBCode that allows the alignment, height and width settings. Don't use "extimg" unless you really need to use these settings, as "extimg" is a custom BBCode. Best to use the standard ones when possible, but it's available.
