Hey guys not sure if this is wrong place to do this but I need some help. I'm trying to host this 'mini' server. (I'm not going against Wohp or advertising on the forums, I just need help). For some reason I can't host. I'm using NWN dedicated server. Is there a better program I should use? I am also running on Vista. Is there certain things I need to do on Vista to make this work?
Basically I can load a server. Its says Running, Login at Will but when I go to enter it on Gamespy it doesn't show up. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Maybe nobody can see it because there's nobody on? If you change the filter for servers to include full and empty servers, do you see it?

Eh, this is actually more complicated than you'd imagine. I've tried hosting a server recently myself, and had to give up after a while. However, first off you should go to www.portforward.com, select your router, find Neverwinter Nights on the next list, then follow the guide. That alone may be enough (remember to read the whole thing, there's also something about making a static IP, though Calan can really say more about that than I..)..

Yeah Peter I have actually tried that several times to make sure but unforunately it didn't work for me.
Rofl. Thanks for the tip Insanity but its just my luck that mine isn't even on that list.

These are only wireless routers. If you're still on a wire, I .. don't know what the problem would be.

Don't you need to open up holes in your firewall, too?

Oh, obviously. But I figured he'd know that. And I kinda forgot.

Well, you'd be surprised at what some people never even think about, which is the answer to everything.
