Just animated? If not, I'll stick with Calvin & Hobbes.
Out of animated ones, hmmm. I was really to "old" for Pinky & the Brain and such greats. I've enjoyed them, but I wasn't a kid at the time. A list of choice favorites I remember:
*Tom & Jerry *The Snorks *DuckTales *Darkwing Duck *Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers

I totally jumped on the Sailor Moon wagon when I was little. (I know that those of you young enough for it did, too!)

Took the liberty of embedding all the video links in this thread.

This is pretty much off topic, but since you all already posted my favorite cartoons. I've found that most times when the embed code wont work for me, it's because I foolishly (enjoying proper English grammar) put a space after the comma where the height and width go. It should look like this [flash=425,344], not this [flash=425, 344]

Was around in the old days, still is I hear. I just stopped watching it years ago. I somewhat miss it.

The reason you're getting white boxes is the syntax isn't right. Embedding the URL link won't work, you need the "embed" link. Whereas a normal link looks like this:
