I know you can all manage, but just in case you are in a rush:
NOTE: Ignore this when time is screwed up, like a federal emergency where all clocks are rewound 4 hours, or Daylight Savings times, unless your area doesn't recognize it.
Everything on the server is Mountain Time (UTC - 7:00)
If it says "Take n hours" for your time zone, then subtract the corresponding number from the time of the post. If it says "Add n hours" for your time zone, then add the corresponding number to the time of the post.
UTC - 12:00 = Take 5 hours (International Date Line West) UTC - 11:00 = Take 4 hours (Midway Island, Samoa) UTC - 10:00 = Take 3 hours (Hawaii) UTC - 9:00 = Take 2 hours (Alaska) UTC - 8:00 = Take 1 hour (Pacific Time) UTC - 7:00 = No Change (Mountain Time) UTC - 6:00 = Add an hour (Central Time) UTC - 5:00 = Add 2 hours (Eastern time) UTC - 4:00 = Add 3 hours (Atlantic time) UTC + 0:00 = Add 7 hours (Greenwhich Mean Time Zone) UTC + 1:00 = Add 8 hours (Central Europe) UTC + 2:00 = Add 9 hours (East Central Europe)* UTC + 3:00 = Add 10 hours (West Middle East and East Europe)* UTC + 4:00 = Add 11 hours (Caucuses Standard Time) UTC + 5:00 = Add 12 hours (Ekaterinburg)* UTC + 6:00 = Add 13 hours (Almaty)* UTC + 7:00 = Add 14 hours (Bangkok)* UTC + 8:00 = Add 15 hours (Beijing, Singapore)* UTC + 9:00 = Add 16 hours (Tokyo, Seoul)*
*These areas have no given time zone. If there is a correct time zone name, feel free to tell me.

I'm pretty sure GMT/UTC +1 is called Central Europe..

Of course, there is the insanity that is Daylight Savings which throws -some- (but not all) of this off. The server is always UTC -7 as Arizona does not recognize Daylight Savings.

Well, when Daylight Savings Times happens, don't expect me to update this.

Agreed, nicely done Peter. However... *cough*, not to diminish your efforts. But, if this is for the forums, can't you just change your time zone in the settings to have everything fit your time? Or am I missing something here?

Anyone who is registered on the forums can just set the times, in the User Control Panel, to whatever timezone they are in. Timestamps on posts will then work a little easier.

As Dru said, sometimes events are planned in certain time zones. One thing about the time stamps is that they sometimes don't figure in Daylight Savings Time.

For the record and not that anyone cares - I hate Daylight Savings time.

Me too, but partly because not all countries that use Daylight Savings start it at the same time either.... Canada changed when theirs starts though because of the US. Stupid border. But I think there's about a two or three week difference from when Canada and Australia do their time changes, for example. I think you can also click on something in the profile to adjust for daylight savings, but that's also a pain.

Yeah, we set the time, I think, two weeks before/after they do in the north American countries.
As for my previous post, Jinx and Dru, I was refering to Dru's example (in the quote) where she said that, a class would be held an hour from posting.
