[What] happened to this thread? Annnd, question ... with proper role play reason, one -could- switch to a noncaster class, or semi-noncaster in the case of some classes which normally wouldn't be considered caster can cast spells or what not <.<

[That] Thread is outdated and the information incorrect. Buuut, if you wish to play a multiclass / prestigeclass character, you have to get permission from the DMs. It should be covered in the FAQ though.

Insanity is correct in his assessment. -All- levels of classes outside of Wiz/Sorc/Clr/Drd/Bard needs to be specifically permitted.

He was talking about making Brennan a "Puff Master." You know...limited mind control (confusion)....reduced damage from critical hits ("Dude! That was NOT cool...oooh..butterflies!")....left hand is always smoking....etc.

Neverwinter Nights Classes? What do they mean? Nothing. If the NWN Spells were disband, they would mean absolutely nothing. But, as the case is, they are very powerful expansion on the wand spells. Why use Incendio? Use Firebrand. Just from a Overpowering spellcaster look, I mean. Of course, I play a character that tries to be the best at what she can, if she succeeds I can't tell ya, I being the player.
Anyway, WHY would you WANT to be a Ranger instead of a Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, or Wizard?

Soo.. Essentially you answered a post that was already answered? Not that I don't mind thorough explanations, mind you.

Yes. I did. "Wanna fight about it?" and I forget where that came from.. it made me laugh though. And, these are just my views, not necessarily facts, most of my posts are, unless otherwise le stated! >.>

Very. And it's punishable by sentencing to Azkaban.
