...As the tree was struck Mai lets out a scream in sync with Cat, nearly jumping onto Gus. When Gus pulled them inside, she shakes the water out of her hair, using her wand which is still puffing out hot steam to attempt to dry herself off and calm herself down. She looks between them both with a frown. "I hate lightning...."

Caitlyn takes a deep breath, her heart racing from the lightning strike. "That..was scary.." She uses her wand to dry the rest of her off, but she is still breathing heavily from being scared. "that poor tree!"

"Thank Goddess I wasn't still under there..." Nathan pulled a face slightly, blinking several times. He looked back up to the stone arch with a sigh.

...She grins over at Cat and goes to hug her, smirking as she gets Cat a bit wet again. "At least it wasn't us! I'm sure Sprout can take care of that tree..." *she mutters Finite to the wand and the spell ceases. then pulling out a hair bow she attempts to pull her rather choppy shoulder lengthed hair into a bun, partially succeeding as strands decided to stick out of the bun. "And now we can watch the storm from the safety of the castle!" *seems rather sarcastic, seeing as how she never really cared for it in the first place* She looks over as Nathan speaks, "You were under that tree?! Wow..." She walks over to Gus and sits beside him, resting her head on his shoulder...
OOC: Wait is nathan IN the castle with us now?

If the individuals had looked back far enough, they would have seen a singular figure walking through the rain as if it was not even there. The towering form of Ares Richard Keeferson strolls through the thunderstorm with his hood over his head. The droplets bounce off of his robes and cloak, thanks to the new spell he has recently learned. The young man occasionally looks up to the heavens whenever the lightning flashes, a scornful stare upon his face. It is almost as if he is challenging the gods themselves to strike him down, being the tallest moving thing out there. It doesn't help he may have something metallic on him... and his luck isn't really the greatest with this sort of thing.
Noticing the girls dashing inside with Feargus, he smiles to himself. His confidence in the Ravenclaw is fairly high. Another clap of thunder shakes him out of his immediate reverie. Turning towards the tree recently struck by lightning, Keeferson starts to head in that direction. Apparently, the Hufflepuff Hardcase has something in mind. Remaining silent for the time being, his long steps start on the path towards the damaged tree.

The Entrance Hall shakes with the power of the thunder that seems to be RIGHT above them. Caitlyn huddles behind a pillar , pulling her cloak over her as if she's a bit scared. "It's really close.."

....Mai shakes her head. "We'll be alright...castles made of stone....not gonna hurt us here". She snuggles closer to Feargus, taking comfort in his warmth. "Though I'll be glad when it's over...." She leans up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek before resting her head back down on his shoulder...

"I'd be a bit more useful if I were dry, eh?" *he slips his wand out and flourishes it at his clothes* "Tergeo."
*he slips the wand away and puts an arm around Mai*
"There now," he smiles and looks at Caitlyn, "we'll be safe in here, nothing's goin' te hurt us." He pats the floor beside their pillar, "Here, sit with us for awhile, relax." He shakes his head, "That was nuts..."

Matthew Pace comes from the staircase to notice Caitlyn. He welcomes her bit sitting next to her and wrapping his cloak around her
"Sorry I'm a bit late, my Juliet. It sounded like you had some fun out there. I wish I was out to see." he smiles
He just sits with Cait as she is sitting between his outstretched legs, whispering sweet somethings into her ear and caressing her cheeks five minutes after one another..

She smiles as Matt comes down and sits next to her, pulling his cloak around her. "Yea.. I was out in the gardens and then BAM! I started raining and then" ~The castle shakes a moment as the storm announces it presence.~ " We saw a tree got hit by lightning which was really scary.. Feargus pushed us inside at that point.. it was realy scary, I screamed.. so did Mai." After a little bit of time, she goes to sit with Mai and Feargus, hugging Mai. "I'm just glad the castle is made of stone.."

Keeferson walks back into the castle after the last thunder roar. With the lightning flashing behind him, he is currently carrying a few long branches from at least two lightning-struck trees. Covered in water, Keeferson doesn't look the least bit phased by the condition of his clothes. Striding into the castle without a look around, he watches as the rain slowly slips from his robes, leaving him completely dry.
Removing his hood, Keeferson's normally red eyes have a tinge of orange within. Holding his wand in his free hand, he casts another few spells to remove the remains of the rainwater from his robes and cowl. He glances around at those whom are close to the doors he came in through, not unkindly.
"Impervius. A lovely thing, that."

..."How do ye think? Its wet, its loud, and I'm not going back out te get hit like that tree." Mai nods her head on Feargus' shoulder then looks around to see who all the storm has gathered. She spots Keef walking in and waterproof and grins waving at him. "Well at least ye was smart enough te water proof yourself. Wish I had thought of that..." Then without warning she leaps up and tackles Keef, laughing. "Hello big brother!"...
