It's so very important to be safe/cautious with everything you do! And yes, we'll most likely get an eye-opening experience when we meet people face to face... it'll be a surprise in many ways! BUT... the fear that something "could" go wrong is hardly enough for me not to go forward with my plans here. Just be wise... don't be a 13 year old girl, meeting a guy at the mall after lying to your parents about where you were going in the first place. (Duh!) A bit of common sense and precaution, without paranoia, is important.

That said... We're going!

Jinx, please take this in the positive way that this is meant, but there's probably not that many of us who want to go anywhere near your pants.


And yes, I *am* one of the other people who has met online people RL (and was stupid enough to be engaged to someone I met online for quite a while). And that was before the whole "Ooh, be careful who you meet with" issue was such a big thing.
Now that I've made myself feel ancient.... Nowadays, yeah... I'd be careful who I met with online. There's freaks and then there's the crazy stalker "going to kill you" freaks. Of which I consider myself the first, but not the second - though I've run into one. (Well, a stalker - hopefully not a psychopath.)


Oh, btw, with that being said, I am going to be away for the two weeks immediately prior to the movie coming out 'cause I'm going to Portland with a friend of mine so she can meet HER online boyfriend without stupid risks being taken. I'll be on the forums, but not in game.
