While tooling around on NWN's official forums the last few days, I was brought back to my early days of NWNing. I realized that I somehow managed to accumulate nearly 550 posts on the official NWN forums years ago (O.O How did I forget that?). I also joined way back in 2002...I'm not even sure if the HP mod was around back then. Wish it had been...

I recall being very active, especially in three different communities (which have all been axed in my intervening years). Got me to thinking, wonder if anyone on here was ever involved in one of them?

I was a fairly active member of the PlanetNeverwinter boards hosted by Gamespy back in my early days. That was pre-CEP or anything, and I recall us managing to come up with some pretty cool stuff way back when (all of which I've -completely- forgotten since). Those forums have long since been flushed down the toilets...

My main and most active PW server at the time was Fraghaus-Krynn, which has long since tanked under. I'll never forget the days of waiting in line on Gamespy to join the 96/96 server. On my dial-up. Laptop. With a celeron...

I was also a founding member of the PlanetNeverwinter in Krynn group (originally for people of the former who played on the latter). Most of us ended up moving on from Krynn in the end to create and DM our own modules for each other. Fun stuff.

Anyone recall any of these? It was almost like looking through my high school yearbook when I went through the NWN forums a bit ago. How about other nostalgia? Anyone else reminiscing in their early days on NWN?

DM'd at Sorin. Head DM'd at Sorin's sister-server Gothos. Played on some server that takes place in a Forgotten Realms frontier town. Played on Escape and Escaped from Underdark. Anyone know me from anywhere? : P

The last server I devoted my time to as both a player and a DM shut down and with it, the forums. I have a few screenshots kicking around. Fun to look back. I still keep in touch with some of the old crowd; trying to get them to come and play on HP. One success so far! One other already plays here. Est Sularus oth Mithas!

Ahh, good to hear those old familiar words again. My honor is my life .

I've completely lost touch with everyone from those days. We were all so active on forums and in game, we never thought to exchange other contact info. With all said forums being canned in my intervening years...well, that's kinda how I found this place .

HP has been my main community throughout NwN. >_>; The year before it was released though I jumped around a few communities, never sticking to one. Though a favorite was Isandor, not sure how they are over there now-a-days but it had amazing RP, etc.

My first ever server was something with an N... which then turned into Castle Durgalbane, and now (if still around) Mount Evereska. (Loval Vault)

Penguin and I also played on some other SV server for a while but I can't recall which it was.

And yeah, Rowan, I miss Krynnhaven, too. Stone still stomps around scowling in the back of my head.

My main two have been the aforementioned KrynnHaven and Wheel of Time: The True Source. Both great communities with some good, if not great RP. I like to think that Zane is different enough from either of my "good" guys there that no one would recognize me without the login nickname.
