I mean, I enjoy characters who are the polar opposites of what house they are supposed to be in. Like someone in Slytherin who in all reality should be a Hufflepuff. I mean sure, they should have gone to Huffle to begin with, but everyone loves a muggle blooded Slytherin who plays Nintendo DS. It truly makes for great contrast, continuity and certainly makes the Sorting Hat seem like it can continue to make logical choices for the many centuries to come.

I just think that all the houses should be equal, and I want to make that more possible with me not knowing who I am till then.
Well my character will be developed on the train a bit, so we will see.

Ayin Mesmer as been in the works for ages. I have to say thanks to an old friend that I played with that actually made Ayin, and this is a semi-tribute to him, and to branch Mesmer off into my own little world as my own.
He will be nothing like his house.

The books very strongly hint that a person's subconscious (and sometimes conscious, as with Harry) choice is what influences what house they're sorted into. _________________
