I would still really like to foster this experiment as a GM, but this week it's going to be very difficult for me to devote any time to it.
What about holding off another month? Start the week of the Autumnal Equinox. Maybe the Saturday before, September 19th.
Maybe we can even get some of the new curriculum ready in time. You can all be guinea pigs!

Another consideration for waiting until September is the build team is close to having the new "school" ready. IF you hold off. I know, you're all tired of hearing us saying that, but it's really getting close. Would be fun for the new kids to all arrive with the new/tweaked school.

Also it would be nice to have a LARGE group of people, that have been playing on server for a bit, to be able to test this. I am really excited about this and I think it would be cool for us all to test together.

I am totally set for September 19th, I think. Nothing as of right now scheduled for then, but plans do change.

On one of the other big topics for this:
How about three weeks for first and second years, four weeks for third, fourth, and fifth, and two months for sixth? (About sixth months total, taking us to the Vernal Equinox, it just so happens.)

I think the years should be a fixed time length for each year. That way if people decide to join in later, they could be the year below and just follow along without have to worry about aging faster than those above.
