Hi book!

Today I fell in a coffin!
I'm still getting married, too, apparently.
And for some strange reason, I appear to have a femur in my bag.

Also, Dominic's back!!! It was nice to see him. We had a pool party and it was fun. Sierra complimented me on my bathing suit! I was surprised. I don't know the first thing about fashion and she's so chique! Anyway, we played some games and chatted a bit 'til we got word of Jinx lurking around. That put an end to the party right quick. Got to spend some time with Domi in the pool though. It'll be nice to have some time to catch up once the school stops spinning under his feet.

Also, I'm going home. In TWO days. To Sweden. Yes. SWEDEN. So make that: France, Egypt, Germany and SWEDEN.

Hey, book! So! Guess who's Prefect? Yup. You got it. I'm sitting in my comfy new room now, writing to you from my bed in front of the fireplace! I have a fireplace. Let's see, what's new?

~I spent lots of time with Selina today, and we became true sisters! She's a remarkable girl. I adore her and I will protect her, no matter what.

~I was given a precious gift, and I gave one in return. That's always nice, no?

~Oh! I'm pretty sure Nikolai Faust was temporarily in love with Jinx Sinclair.

~I have a cat! Her name's Orbis and she's sitting by my cauldron right now. I think she likes it there, so, I'll make sure to keep it set up for her.

~Matty got hurt real bad with some Dark Magic. But he's alright now.

~Right and, due to a series of unfortunate events, we had I had to postpone my trip to Sweden. So, I haven't gone yet.

Okay, Orbis decided to join me on the bed and is, I believe, demanding snuggles!

So! Guess what! I went to Sweden yesterday. To see my family. SO weird.
They have a beautiful house! It's amazing and oh, you should see my room! I'll stick the picture they sent me in here. Safe as place as any!

The climate is completely controlled by them and it's hidden off entirely from Muggles! Really neat.

As for the family well, my brother's pretty funny and my Dad's alright too, they're a lot alike, I think. My mom well, she's... I'm sure she's nice somewhere in there.

Anyway! That's about it!

It's really been forever, hasn't it, book? Well, this Prefect business sure is keeping me busy. Along with the boyfriend business. Cat's outta the bag, reactions were as expected, mostly!

So now that I'm all of age and things, I tried Fire Whiskey! Never EVER again. Thank goodness for magic. I don't know how Muggles deal with the morning after.

In other news, the Justice League was on the prowl for... Justice this evening.
Myself (being Batman, of course), Robin, and Wonder Woman! We totally brought it. Justice, I mean. Yeah. We were awesome. And after, when we were all tired from running (yeah, we like literally ran everywhere) and saving the world, we collapsed in the middle of the Entrance Hall. Snape found us. Get this! He didn't even CARE! Weird, right?

Oh, and, the other day at breakfast, Jinx stood up on the Ravenclaw Table and wrote "I Love Rowan Theirin" in wand writing in the air. That's me, right! How ADORABLE is that?

OH YEAH! I did Mai and Deme's tarot readings today. They were super accurate. I think they were kinda spooked. Yeah, I know, I got it.

Really, the rest is all just random drama and I'm tired. Going to go knock on a door now.

Appearance. Perception. Misconception. Then... what?

Today, someone I once respected referred to mythology. The point he (and the original myth, of course) made was that one shouldn't attempt to fly higher than they are meant to, for the fall is straight down. And splat. We even got sound effects.

My question, book... what happens when it is merely perception? People perceiving that an individual(s) is attempting to stretch beyond their reach when in actuality, all they really hope for each day is the strength to make it off the ground?

I haven't got an answer.

So, it is official. Eventually-to-be Mrs. Sinclair! Wow, right? Just think, book... it has been what? A year since I began writing about him all cryptic like? Yeah, you know, all just-in-case-like? Well, no more of that now! The ring is beautiful, and the inner side is inscribed with a Yin Yang and an Infinity Symbol. (Clever, clever book. You remember where that comes from, don't you?)

Our relationship's sure been put through the rumor wringer, and it'll only get worse, I fear. Do I care? Not one bit. I am the luckiest person to walk the earth and I regret nothing.

OOC: From this point forth, the entries appear to be written about the past rather than the present.

More than two years ago now, Micah's hard work was destroyed right in front of my eyes. The physical form of happiness, crushed by Slytherin Prefect, Jinx Sinclair. More than two years ago now, I was taken by the wrist and forced into side along apparation. “These kids, they know nothing but misery,” I was told. “It is not smart to try and force your happiness on them. People think I am one of those kids, but I'm not,” I remember sitting in a large chair in the Sinclair Corporation. I felt so out of place, so small. I watched Jinx closely as he spoke to me. “What does he want with me?” I thought. “Why did he force me here to give me advice? Should I run? No, I'm sure the doors are locked. I'm not going to survive this, am I?” I did. I survived but I was left with confusion. He wasn't so bad. But then why had everyone warned me? What was I missing? I resolved then that I would find out.

It was a few weeks later, the morning after the full moon. Breakfast as usual but that day was different. He approached me again and this time, I went willingly. We took a walk along the water towards Hogsmeade and I remember it being very hot, the sun beaming down on us fiercely. “Did I ever tell you that you remind me of someone?” he had asked. “The only difference between you and her is you are a strong person.” I remember thinking then, “Am I?” Even as I write this now I ask myself, “Am I?” We stopped before reaching the village. “You need to do what you must to maintain your appearance but keep yourself happy in the process.” I spent long hours thinking about this and it lead to more questions. Was that even possible? The struggle was endless, it seemed, between what I wanted for myself and what others expected of me. “It just means you are you. You are unique. And that is all you can be.” But was that good enough? Is that good enough for what is to come? Who can really be sure? We left each other at the gates, and from the moment I walked away, I could hardly wait to see him again.

He didn't call on me for a while, maybe a couple weeks passed before the longest bathroom break ever. This time our destination was a snowy clearing just outside Durmstrang. Two questions he asked stand out from that day. The first, “What is your opinion of me?” and then the second, “I am only going to offer this to you once. And your decision is final. Are you ready for this offer?” Of course, that wasn't the question. The real question was whether to accept the offer or not. I replied to the first and I was given time to think about the second. Though I didn't give it, I had the answer immediately. Because of course, I'd already thought of it.

Another week or so passed before he contacted me again. I hadn't given him an answer to his offer and I had anticipated I wouldn't see him until I had. I was wrong. I awoke to an owl resting patiently on my pillow. The invitation was for breakfast in Knockturn. That was the day I had the chicken for breakfast. I also had all the questions that time. I remember finally asking him, most assuredly sarcastically, “What are your reasons for allowing me these visits?” His answer? “The same reason that you go to them, I'd assume.” We were interrupted several times by owls carrying letters, but only one was for me. An invitation for a date.

The following meeting took place quite quickly after the last. Fast forward to Pinboria. I was given a gift that day, a piece of cloth torn from my clothing. Bloodstained. “A piece of you that you left behind,” he had said. Later, I give that gift back. But I'll get to that.

What happened in Germany, I'm afraid, will always remain a secret.

Our next meeting took place in a graveyard. The moral of the evening ended up being, “You are awesome. And don't kill cats.” Words to live by, I promise. I was given homework that night. Two tasks. One was something to think on and the other, something to do. I never did complete that second task, but, I never had to. I swear, I would've been successful.

I hurt two people today. One, a close friend. The other, someone I know next to nothing about. How is it that, in order for me to get the things I desire, others are hurt along the way? The bigger and better question being, why is it that I can't be bothered to care?

But, I am satisfied in my ways. I shouldn't question. After all, it's taken me this far.
