Caitlyn lives with her mother, Melinda now after her parents had a messy divorce a few years ago. It often was met with their roof missing or some things breaking. As a result of that, Caitlyn is a little afraid of fights. She is from Surbiton, London, which is in Surrey but near the river which was wonderful during hot summers. Her mother is an established witch in the area and is quite famous for her soap-making using herbs and the like with a tiny bit of magic to make the user even more beautiful for a few hours, like a high powered glamour spell. Caitlyn also has a younger brother who lives with her mom, Alistair , whom she has a good enough relationship with. Caitlyn’s father lives on the other side of London and she hardly sees him anymore. She loves him though even though her parents split apart a few years ago.
Caitlyn spent most of her childhood outdoors playing in the river or with her few friends. Though not allowed to cast underage magic, she often did little spells to help the flowers grow or to tend her small vegetable garden. She enjoys being outside even though she is of fair complexion and has to be really careful of the sun.
The young girl was raised on stories of Hogwarts from both her mother and father and often that was one of the few times she saw both of them smiling. Her parents had started up a small savings fund for her at an early age so that she could have the best supplies for her school career.
When she reached of age to enter Hogwarts her mother was very excited and glad to see the magic in their family was still strong. She has high expectations for her daughter, and hopes that she will not take after her fathers more destructive streak.
After some absence which only a few friends know why (FOIG) she has returned to Hogwarts. Will she stay long this time? No one knows for sure. Only a few people have seen her around, though she was spotted having breakfast. Hopefully she will return to her long abandoned studies
Caitlyn is a quiet yet polite woman, and is always keen to speak in terms of respect for all her friends and to the professors and other students. She has a strong English accent betraying where she is from. Though she is polite, she is also friendly but stays away from people who seem scary to her. She also has a tendency to wander off exploring some new part of the castle or the grounds, and gets lost and hurt quite often. She is independent yet pretty mellow, can play the piano, harp and sing quite well and has a tendency to sleep walk if she is upset about something. With her friends though she can be spunky and playful however, Caitlyn also has a huge weakness for chocolate, and would prefer to be outside on sunny days, and wears flowers in her hair if she can find fresh ones.
(Fifth Year) A little bit taller, she is slowly growing out gowns but still wears them pretty frequently. Her long hair has been donated to a charity and she now sports shoulder length hair with nice bangs in the front. She also wears a shimmering green promise ring on her right hand, something she's had since 1st year, however she wonders why she still wears it. She has been seen more now with Melissa Kane, her new girlfriend,and a bit more happy. In fact, people would think she is glowing.
She still loves her flowers , so she's still going to open up a store to sell flowers and floral arrangements. However, right now she sees herself living with Mel, and having to cook, since Mel can't cook at all.
