• Boyfriend/girlfriend/bed warmer piss you off and you'd rather not get expelled for pounding them? (hey, we don't discriminate!)
• Wand skills not up to snuff and you'd rather not be completely defenseless?
• Bored, masochistic, or generally have a thing for pain?

Join the Lady Scrappers: a sparring and defense club, just for the ladies. We'll have training in self-defense, fighting fitness, and outright noggin' knockin'. There'll be lots of hands-on practice, and regular hand to hand tournaments.

We'll assign House Leaders to each house, responsible for their members and having some level of autonomy. Siobhan MacDale of Gryffindor is the Head Scrapper - contact her directly for now if you're interested in being involved. Anyone thinking of being a House Leader, attach your name to this page and we'll see how good you are!

Evie Cromwell pauses to look over the bulletin board in the Entrance Hall, idly chewing on a licorice wand as she reads the odd assortment of notices and requests. She comes to the Lady Scrappers poster and reads it twice, a smile curving her lips even though she looks a bit sad.

Fishing a quill out of the disarray in her school bag, she adds a note to the bottom of the poster:

Evie Cromwell, 7th year Hufflepuff. Bareknuckle boxing and Beater Technique. Let me know if I can help, I make a good punching bag!

"Figures the prefects in this bloody place would be more worried about me talkin' about pain than my jokes about their sex lives. Fine."

*after stuffing her face full of pancake, Melody happens to catch the poster hanging in the Great Hall*

No way, *wiping the bit of syrup still on her chin.* Hah...ma's gonna be pissed I'm fightin again. Can't wait ta tell da though...

*Giggling to herself Melody signs the bottom of the poster 'Gear Majick, 2nd year Ravenclaw'*

Looking at the posters, Keeferson is tempted to set fire to them all. Realizing that such was his instinctive reaction to seeing anything that Seril Kane is attached to, he shrugs and walks away from it. Anyone later reading the posters would see a few rather interesting things happening to them - namely that on two of the posters are there symbols of the Ravenclaw Status Titans, on three of the posters there are the crests for the Slytherin Siren Seven, and on just about all of the posters there are HUGE groups of (NPC) Ravenclaws and Slytherins wanting to join.

And on just about every poster, there's a mention that a certain Hufflepuff and his equal numbers in Slytherin and Ravenclaw should be forced to provide snacks for all these meetings. Without question. All the time. In aprons. (Possibly little else.)
