That's when I asked off work for. Question: (for the DMs mostly) What are my chances of getting a House Elf familiar for the 19th? It would greatly aid the visuals of my RP, since Sophia will pretty much have her House Elf with her the whole time. Just a thought I had.  Edit: Err, I'm assuming a House Elf henchman would be alot easier to do than a familiar. =P

The point of this was to have us all get sorted together, year together, etc... so probably not, no.

Ok so where will our story begin? in the train? or at diagon alley buying the stuff?
I think it should start on train and everyone do her own shopping cause most of people go with their parents our familiars to buy the stuff, and we can't rp that, also some don't even buy themselfs and ask a maid to go buy for them. So yeah i think the train for start is better, what you guys think?

I agree. Also a question I dont think (and cant believe) hasnt been asked yet; What timezone is appropiate for the start date/time. I know for a fact that here in Australia for most of my 19th, it is still the 18th in quite alot of the US.
Just hoping to clarify a couple of things.

I hope to be involved in DMing much of the initial stuff, and I know JB does too. My thinking for the 19th is that it would occur during the day EST, to allow for the most time zone participation. So for example, if we start at noon EST and run for 4-4.5 hours, that would be 4pm-8/9pm GMT (I think). That makes it 9am-1pm Arizona time. Unfortunately, this makes the start time 2am in Brisbane. If we push it forward too far, then we mess up the GMT/ European folks. Anyone have thoughts? I know I will be unavailable from about 5pm EST (9pm GMT) until about 11pm EST (3am GMT) that day. As I've posted before, i'm quite flexible with my hours. Plus running 4-4.5 hours, that covers if my work falls in between. I cant, though, speak for others living in Australia.

I've just got a job recently and they have me working 11-7 that day for training and stuff >.> I already have the character made and everything soooo :/ i guess it just depends on the times......
