For a weird reason i coudn't connect to the server and still can't, its also the only server i can't conect, I even spoke to Ree about it on msn, but coudn't figure out a reason, so i lost this event. And i really dunno when this problem of not been able to connect will last, maybe until next reset, we will see.

A quick question regarding our new firsties: Since we're to all year up together to second when it becomes time, do we need to do all the first year assignments and hold onto them without turning in, or are we just going to ignore that system altogether for this event?

Yes, do the assignments as you usually would, holding them until it is time to year up. Considering the sheer number of first years involved, this would be a good opportunity for them to work together to complete the assignments.

I'm sorry you missed it, Earaldor. I hope you get that trouble connecting resolved.

The initial start of the group characters with the train ride and Sorting was fun, but there will be plenty more opportunities for playing with the group. We can help those who still want to get all caught up.

I believe we're going with three weeks for first and second years, four weeks for third, fourth, and fifth, and two months for sixth.

I have just succesfully logged in and so I will in time arrive to Hogwart, I hope. May this funny studen from Poland join the group of "firsties"? ;]

You most certainly may! The big event for the Sorting and such was held yesterday, but if you get yourself sorted and started in the usual way today or tomorrow, I think you'd be a welcome addition.


Keep in mind, and this is for everyone, that JB and I are under constraints for time on the events, and most of them will probably occur in the later nighttime (Eastern Time, in the US). We apologize to anyone who has trouble with this, but there isn't a lot we can do about it, unfortunately.

Well, unfortunately I couldnt log on Saturday. Well, I'll probably make up some story about how I got held up by death eaters at platform 9 3/4 and how I heroically shot sparks at them.. But really, hoping to still be part of the group. My advice for the people that werent able to join in on sorting/train ride, is that they were late to getting to the train, missed it, and after sending a letter to Hogwarts, were apparated to Hogsmeade? Just my idea, so that way we dont break the RP, and we at least have a good starting story. So.. Gonna wait for another session till I log on. ( PS, do we only log on during the actual event sessions, or just anytime? )
