I find the Oblivion controls a hot mess. Even worse on the console. If that's possible. At least with the PC you can modify it. Anyhoo, been ages since I've played.
That said... currently not really playing anything else, save for what I get paid to play at work. Oh, and a bit of Rock Band (1, 2, et al).
Recently finished Uncharted 2, though (which is one of the best games I've played).

Jade Empire is awesome!
My only complaint is that they talk up the whole "Open Palm vs Closed Fist" being different than "Good vs Evil", but the dialog choices don't seem to follow. If you're playing Closed Fist it seems like you often have to choose Evil, not Closed Fist, dialog if you want the Closed Fist alignment shift.

After three or four hours of playing it yesterday, I disagree. There's a subtle difference between closed fist and evil, imo. Kind of look at it like paragon/renegade in Mass Effect. It's not Good/Evil, either. Sure, there's a lot of overlap, but still.

Just changed projects this week at work, and I am proud to say I've been playing Deus Ex 3.

I really should play Mass Effect. I don't think my computer could run it when it came out and I'd forgotten about it. Edit: In lieu of a double post. Monkey Island! Man I loved that game. I first played it on eight 5 1/4" floppies. There was a joke that was lost in the CD version. In the forest on Melee Island there was a tree trunk that when you 'Look'ed at it said something like "You see a hole leading into a huge network of caverns." When you tried to enter it would say "Please insert disk 367 to continue." If you put in any of the eight disks and hit enter or if you just hit enter it would repeat the message, but change the three digit disk number. After hitting enter like 5 or 6 times it would finally say "Oh well, I guess you don't get to play that part of the game".

When we got to that tree stump, I just started crying. I just couldn't understand why they hadn't included the right disks!

Haven't posted here for a while, but I've been playing The Bard's Tale again and wondered if anyone else has played it.
It's a pretty linear and not ground breaking in any way as far as game-play, but the dialog always cracks me up.
