My poor Gryffindor seems to be allergic to potions. She's only tried to make a few and has already been blown up 10 times. I was curious as to how many times in general people got molested by their potions; my other char has reached second year with only 3 accidents.
Do the number of incidents lessen as you go up in years or is it totally random?
Oh and I guess the poll would be with either your main char or the one you've had the most potion exploding experience with lol.

As far as i'm aware, they shouldn't blow up at all as long as you put the ingredient into the cauldron in the correct order, and lay them in its inventory in the correct order aswell. The first two years on my Will, i blew up so much he actually hit 0 hitpoints a few times, but since i figured out the above mentioned stuff, i haven't blown up anything since.

Yeah I always wear gloves. Fortunately none of my explosions have ever taken hit points; they just turn me a pretty shade of green. XD
