Facebook is evil. Isn't the point to collect as many "friends" as you can? Kind of like pennies in a jar?

Like any other popular technology, it's over-used. And like anything else on the internet, your 'private' information can make its way around. Still, it's a valuable networking tool, if used for what it was initially meant for.

I've found people that I never would have ever been able to reconnect with had Facebook not been around. I've also kept in contact with people that I would have lost. So to me, that's what it's good for. I think I played a game once too, but -heck- no it wasn't FarmVille.

Not happening, Dusk-Strider. I've disabled all invites for junk like that. I usually had at least ten farmville invites DAILY; it drove me nuts.

Yeah, I've hidden all external application notifications from mine. I prefer to pretend I live in the good old days when Facebook was just for keeping in touch with people. If I want to play a game, I'll play a real game.
