This isn't meant to be an attack on any DMs, Admins, or the like, merely a poll of opinion.
Poll will run for two weeks.

Kind of an irrelevant question, really, given that the status and eventual outcome is dependent on a plot that's on-going. o.O
Edit: I get cookies from House Elves.

I think.......you miss.......the point.
Fortunately, this isn't a democracy. And we're moving forward toward the direction which is best for the server, whether or not you see it.

I am aware that it's an on-going plot. This has nothing to do with it, this is a poll of opinion.
Offensive comments should be deleted before posting.
All servers are a democracy. Without a player base, the server is nothing.
I've found many places that lack this understanding, but eventually their server fell, and died.
I am aware there is a plot for things that have transpired, and don't appreciate subtle attacks, while I may understand, it doesn't mean I agree. And I have every right to disagree, but it doesn't mean I am going to cause problems, I just want my opinion known, freely.

It's not really a democracy. It's an NWN server, not government. I remember a thread a while back where Calan said something about this. It'd be super awesome if someone could quote him. I'm fairly sure the whole thread was moved to the DM forums, actually.

Has the plot dragged on too long? Yeah probably. Should an ending be rushed and slapped together for the sake of? Nope. Why? Because people have invested a lot of time with their characters during that whole year (and more), and that would just feel cheap and anti-climatic.

Servers require conflict to continue. Otherwise, it's boring and we all go elsewhere. There IS a plot going on. PC actions will affect the outcome, and things MAY change.
Personally, I say Peeves for HM. Let's shake this puppy up!
Now then...poll away!

SleepingSun7: You misunderstand. I never said to snap the plot up and end it immediately. I merely suggest it ending within a timely matter. The fact that you say characters have invested time in it, I am sure there are a few, maybe more, regardless, those who have invested time and effort into:
I am happy you found something worthwhile in the events to invest time and effort into. I personally am prepared for the next scene in this movie.
Banana Pancakes: It is entirely true it isn't specifically a democracy. But those servers that fail to listen, all die.
Graymeiste: I vote the Bloody Baron. Also, conflict is fine. Superb in fact, as long as everyone does not die in the effort.

The fact is, if the plot COULD be wrapped up in a timely fashion, I suspect everyone would be all for it. There are OOC factors, however, like real life obligations that are in play right now. The plot is largely in the hands of one DM, whose time is being spread quite thin IC and OOC. We're all aware of the problem... instigating a discussion about it does nothing to fix it. Otherwise it would have been the ten thousand other times this has been talked about. That was my point.

I am aware of RL issues. This is not an instigation of discussing it.
Your insinuations that I am trying to cause problems is not appreciated.
In conclusion, I am done discussing this before it turns into a mud slinging contest for no apparent reason beyond biased opinions on the matter.

Yup, sorry, this thread has already run it's course. If you don't like things, there are plenty of other servers to play on.
