Update: Computer is running, with a new 2.8GHz Quad Core that I opened so I can't return it. I'm working on getting the motherboard to run it at the right speed (I can't seem to be able to not overclock it to 3.2GHz), then the server will be back up and running.

Server is back up.
Don't no one say Calan never did nothin' for the peoples!
Don't no one say Calan ain't sleepin' on no couch for the next month for not spendin' no $425.
Summary: Server got a new power supply and is upgraded from a 2.4GHz to a 2.83GHz quad core. Calan is now poor.
Speaking of which... I have a 2.4GHz Core2 Quad Q6600 core for sale for $150. Used but not abused, never overclocked, apparently it's working -fine- and never got over 60C. Or... if you prefer... the 2.83GHz Quad Core Q9550 for $225. It's brand-freaking-new (I paid $280 for it), I just can't return it. PM me if anyone is interested, one of these is going on Craig's List soon.
Thankfully I can return the new motherboard I got.

I just went to http://www.bioware.com. This was the only thing there: www.bioware.com wrote: Our Apologies
The BioWare websites; online store; master server; and online authentication are temporarily unavailable. Sorry folks; we're having a few technical difficulties. Those pesky Gnomes are banging away at the giant; steam-producing clockwork computers we keep in the basement guarded by Swikky the dire squirrel. We will be back up as soon as we can. Until it's fixed, no one can log into any NWN server anywhere. But they are working on it.

The server has crashed, obviously. It's very possible that there was a hack attempt. Calan will be looking into that shortly as well as some server maitenence before putting it back online. Expect a 1-2 hour wait, assuming everything is alright. If it's not, the server will likely be down longer.

Server is still down. Down time is rapidly becoming shorter. It's hard to estimate down time, but while the estimate was 40-60 minutes about two hours ago, new estimate is about 60-90 minutes from now. Please stay tuned and I will continue to provide estimates.

Estimate is 15 minutes, assuming all goes well.

Just so everyone knows, I am aware the server is down. Taking steps to get it back up as quickly as possible.

Make that about 20, sorry. OS Update is more behind than I thought, it's taking a bit to download.

Sorry for the few hours of down time this morning- I was sick and asleep in bed and didn't hear my phone buzzing off the hook. It's back up.

Server's back up!
Before you get too excited....
It's running on an old 8086 that's running at a whopping 20KHz processor speed. No, not really. But it's not far from that. The server is running, but slower than Hagrid. Laggier than Merlin's left knut. Especially when Drado tries to log in (Lag can be up to almost a minute).
I will get the server back to the Quad-Core Powerhouse as soon as humanly possible. This means that it is likely that I will be purchasing equipment tomorrow, and getting the server moved back to the Quad-Core on Saturday morning. Until then... Merlin's left knut is better than no knuts at all, I suppose.
I will get things back to normal as soon as I possibly can! I promise!
