Black, white, and gray are not colors simply because Black is the absence of color, and white is the blending of all colors. Therefore, since gray is in between it making it not a color.

Therefore, since gray is in between it making it not a color. Actually, that's not true. Black is the presence of color, white is the absence color on a reflective and diffusing surface when illuminated by what is perceived as white light. Black is the absence of visible light. White is the presence of multi-spectral visible light, but not necessarily "all" colors of visible light, and not all multi-spectral light is seen as "white." A color can also be multi-spectral, and in fact usually is. Depending on how technical you get, it always is. Color, as well as white, is perceived as what it is due to harmonics in the frequencies of the light radiation, in addition to how it interacts with the receptors in the retina, as well as how the brain interprets those signals. The brain can interpret as "white" a spectrum with as few as three very narrow peaks in frequency, all the way to "true" full-spectrum transforms, which in practice and reality don't exist as it is only theoretical. The brain cannot tell the difference anyway, though the difference can sometimes be seen in how the light interacts with colored surfaces, depending on how many peaks there are in the "white" light as how narrow they are. A common example is how awful the old style "white" LEDs illuminated things because they were really narrow-band red, green and blue mixed together. So just to keep things on topic, my favorite number is i. And my favorite color is infrared.

Same meaning different words. and it's blending meaning camouflage, not blending, mix.
Or the lightest form of every color:
Dark<------------------------------------------------------->Light
No color<---------------------------------------------------->Blended color

Reminder of the topic of this tread: Favorite Number and Color. Not I am going to explain black, white, post in pictures that have nothing to do with the topic. And it's not favorite way to be annoying either. If you already gave your favorite number and color, Sunrein, don't keep on posting things that have nothing to do with it. ____

Calan wrote: So just to keep things on topic, my favorite number is i. And my favorite color is infrared. Epic, sort of. For the purpose of this thread, let's go with numbers that include 0-9 in them only. And colors that can be found on the Font Color.

Bah!!!! Calan you took my favorite number!!! Oh well I guess we can both be imaginary. e is also a fun number and of course the ever so popular sqaure root of 2.
Any ways my favorite color would be red but if we get to choose any spectrum of energy I like gamma rays.

I sort of like c as well. That's a fun number. Then there's the always popular pi. Which I don't really care much for. And I like ultraviolet as well, but not as much as i and infrared.
