How do you give a pet a name? I tried using that OOC spell from my characters wand and that doesn't do anything, also is there anywhere else characters can get their pets other than Diagon? Because there doesn't to be that many pets you can buy there, unless thats all there is

I have wanted to make it so pets can have names, along with house elves, but I haven't scripted it yet. The only named pets so far are familiars. I'm also going to be updating the familiar list soon too.

I swear I've seen an owl with a name when it was delivering messages.  Don't House Elves already have names? The ones in the kitchen do.

Well I don't know if the ones in the kitchens do because I haven't been down there in so long, but yes, Owls do have names when delivering messages because you can name the owl just by using /e name owl emote, anyway, I was wondering because I've been seeing other character's pets with a name, but that must be their familiar then

Owls can be named. The elves in the kitchen are NPCs.

there are a few with elves if DM approval only to my knowledge. ive been thinking of putting in a request myself for one of characters...
