I guess there wasn't much of the mastodon left after they broke his remains out of the ice. So they figured, what the heck, let's toss this in a wand.

I haven't really picked a birthday for Ed, but he got willow, so I might go with something in that range.
Mine would be birch, though if we're going off the board. . .
