Angelique Theresea Danesque

Angelique (AKA Angel to her friends) was born to a Claude and Sophie Danesque in a little villa outside of Marseilles France on the coast fo the Medditerainn Sea. Her immediate family is made up of her mother and father who are both pure blood witches that both hail from an ancient line of Stregharian Witches from Northern Italy and Southern France (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stregheria) and her oldest brother Robert, who is specializied in divinitation and who loves to play with the muggle stock market and her older sister Monqiue, who is currently studying pagen shaminism and magic in Africa and then on to Haiti to learn about Vodun.

Angelique is a head strong very blunt and to the point young lady who likes to have things her way. If she can have her way she will often try a number of approaches until she gets it. As far as she is concerned the only rule sin life that matter are the ones she makes.

She was initially very unhappy about coming to Hogwarts. Originally for her first two years she was at Madam Beauxbatons Acedemy, but was sent away for a time out when she had an altercation with another girl. Yvette Mineaux (Angel's version of malfoy) is a preppy little know it all that thinks she is the most special thing that ever walked God's green earth. Of course this conflicted with Angel's beliefs that no one makes the rules of life for her and certainly some little miss know it all and so after a frustrating day of putting up with Yvette, implored to her sister Monique for a little Guidance. Now Monique is an intersting character, whos own personal philosophy is that to enjoy happiness one must relize pain and suffering. Monqiue none the less is not a very nice person on most occasions. So with this opportunity to cause a bit of discomfort in some one elses life, she took and helped Angelique by giving her a polymorph scroll. Angelique then proceeded to turn little Moiselle Yvette into a gold fish, which she promptly then flushed her down the toilet. After recovering Yvette form the near by river it was decided that Angelique needed some time away in a different environment.

So here we are at Hogwarts. This place sucks to Angelique. It is too cold, to wierd and full of barbarians and what ever else she can find to complain about. It was however recently that Aneglique started making some acquaintances, which have now made her start to want to stay at Hogwarts. This hasn't stopped her complaining, but at least she is willing to tough it out. (This is how she was when she first got to Hogwarts. Her first real friend at the time was Joki, then she would meet Thomas, who would become her first boyfriend, but doesnt remember him due to Blott. Along with Trin, Evie, Mara (Her best firend along with Joki) and then latter Amber.

Angelique is also a very spiritual person. She holds to all of the tenants of her Stregarian past along with being a Catholic and her belief in God. It may seem odd to come from a long line of pagans and be Catholic, but to her the two meld quite well and have a place for each other. God created everything including nature, so to her to have reverence for nature is to have reference to God. Her ties to her ancient past make her gravitate toward making friends with druids and is probably one of the things that makes her friendship with Evie so special to her.

Her beliefs in her past also include a belief in reincarnation, which Angelique believes truely or not that she is the reincarnation of Joan of Arc, which comes out of her in her tomboy I prefer to be physical than rely on spells kind of ways. This has gotten her fascination and obessesion in with playing quiditch and being involved in a spoprt that she can't talk about. (Everyone knows of the fight club) .

Angelique's favorite class is actually Astronomy. She doesn't actually tell anyone this. Actually Angelique holds alot of secrets which she will rarely if ever divuldge, except maybe to her closest friends in th eutmost of cofindence. Angelique was born under a full moon and was pronounced to be the keeper of lunar knowledge by her family's coven. Hence her fascination with Astronomy class and keeping secrets. She feels most akin to running around at night and would rather sleep all day. This of course is something of an irritation to her since the rules at Hogwarts have it that there is a curfew during the times she would rather be out playing.

Currently Angelique can be seen about any where in Hogwarts. She is constantly doing things and being involved in a multitude of projects at any given time. Depending on her mood is what kind of response you will get out of her when you run into her. She does has a temper,but seems to be able to keep it in check. The tell tail sign she is either up to no good or about to loose her temper is that she reverts back totally into French and has a hard time translating into English until she calms down.

Current News: (With in the last year or so). Angel was involved heavily in the LAM conflict. While trying to discover ways into LAM she decided to Astral Project into the school with Liss. In route she was waylaid by Professor Blott whom proceeded to do unspeakable thing to her. Angel tried to fight back but found the only thing that seemd to have any adverse affect that she could muster agaisnt the Astral version of Blott was Cheerio. Things were about to turn very bad and possibly cost Angel her life when she was able to reach out to Snape who to her surprise showed up. Angel is still wondering how the heck he did that and he seems to keep amazing her. She is now convinced with out doubt she never wants to peeve her teacher and mentor off. Snape proceeded to have an astral battle of epic proportion with Blott with some minor aid coming in from Liss and Angel and were able to beat Blott off and return the two girls back to real space and time.

This however was not without its consequences as now Angel sports a new star shaped scar in the middle of her forehead and had a great deal of memories of her past removed. He mind is like swiss cheese with holes abound. The big thing she has forgotten how to do is to bring others along with her when she astral projects and she can't always seem to get the gates to work the way she wants them when she wants them too. She had to relearn a many of spells, which she got alot of help from Liss, Mai and some of her professors to relearn.

Most of the Temple dealings also are gone or mismatched. If any one has knowldge of the Temple dealings and talks to Angel they will most likely get a discontinous version that isn't wholly there.

Well Angel has come an aweful long ways since her first year at Hogwarts and to list all the things she has done in all of those (literally) past years would fill many pages of her diary. So as she sits and reflects on some of those pages briefly some of those memories and thoughts get laid down here.

Languages: Native Language is French, and speaks/reads Italian fluently, English but with an accent, Latin which she speaks with an accent and reads, Conversational Dutch, a few words and phrases in Arabic thanks to Liss, is learning to read Arameic.

Current Projects:
Becoming a Wyrrdd for her family coven. (A witch that connects the physical world with spiritual). This is something Angel has been working on for a very long time and was jump started by her becoming the guide in the void. She has moved on past this recently as she has become adept at Astral Projection and Gate Travel. Her big goal now is to put this altogether and become a Chronomancer and master time magic.

Recent: Angel has accepted a part time internship at the Ministry Depart of Mysteries. It is a mutal benifiting thing allowing the ministry to keep more tabs on a fledging chronomancer that has learned to open gates to other places while teaching her how to hone those skills. She isn't allowed to talk about what goes on at the Department but she seems quite happy with the arrangements and has gotten to meet Jess' dad whom she admires.

Biggest Accomplishments:

To Angel Quid is her life. She holds the school record for 32 consecutive games one while she was seeker by catching the snitch in every game and has won one tricup. She was picked up last season by the Holyhead Harpies as their backup seeker and she is learning quickly hoping to be starter in a year or two after she finishes up the tutor things and last test she has before officially being able to say she graduated.

After a semi-successful season last year Angel was moved up to starter to replace the current seeker who took a leave of absence form the team to have a baby. Angel has managed to snag the snitch in the first three opening games of the current season and has become a rookie star in the quiditch world at the moment. Some of this goes ot her head at times while at others it is over whelming to her and she shy's away form talking alot about it at school. In fact it has become so overwhelming to her she try's to shy away from even participating in practices or for fun games at school.

Angel has become a Quiditch Star especially to young girls and the people of Wales. She has picked up several endorsements by the likes of Boggart Aid "Put the Fear of the Game in them.", Firebolt Brooms, Aegis women's sport under garments, Baba Yaga's Magical Hut Repair chain and Dr. Anthony Cules Wiazardly Ailment Cure Centers.

Her biggest quiditch accomplishment is recently she lead the Welsh team to victory over the Irish in the World Cup, taking the cup home to her fans in Wales.

She is also the undefeated champion of the Fight Club, even though she pretty much has given up fighting except for maybe a special request.
