Rumors spread about a disagreement that took place between Karen Bonoa and Joki Wilde shortly before the lecture on wand making began this evening. Some students say it was just a quiet exchange of words, but others claim that there was some kind of physical harm done to the Ravenclaw girl - one version of the rumor mentions blood. Students wonder what the conflict could have been about.

Rumor has it that Karen Bonoa has been spending an unusual amount of time in the library lately. Some say she's madly in love with Chance Ferrin, and is hiding from him because she's afraid to express her true feelings. Others say that she's avoiding someone such as Priggo Seville or Joki Wilde. Some students would point out that Karen always spends a ridiculous amount of time in the library and that this is nothing noteworthy, but others will counter that this time is different, as she appears to be actively looking for something, not just attempting to read the entire library. Those who have approached her corner of the library report that the piles of books surrounding her seem to be mostly UK-centric histories, with some legal records mixed in.

Rumors spread that Professor Babbling has had an accident and that a new teacher has come to take her place until she is well enough to return. If asked, Professor Dumbledore would confirm that there is indeed a Professor Pyke Grenfell temporarily taking Professor Babbling's place.

Some students whisper of an explosive argument between Tom Summers and Joki Wilde, an altercation that began in the Great Hall and spilled over to the Entrance Hall during breakfast. Some claim that Tom insulted the Slytherin, but most believe it to just be a case of Joki being Joki.

It seems that Andrew Amaner has resurfaced after a long period of despondency, emerging from the library and the cloister of his dormitory. He appears to be putting a good foot forward in reestablishing ties with his fellow students - but the shadow of some ordeal yet lingers in his eyes.
