Remember that the usual RP is a short break, but not necessarily a year up(unless you want to), so you'll be saying hello to a few friends - feel free to jump into that instead of waiting for a possession or the train whistle!

Failed to even notice the 5. Otherwise I would have been wondering why they weren't doing the event until the 9th of May (sorry new char. Take an extended nap lol).
And yes, we use the logical way of writing dates. XD 5th day of the 9th month of the 2015th year 5/9/2015.

Logical way of writing dates? Pfffft, next you'll be going on about kilograms and centimeters and all of that metric crap. You can take your logic and stuff it in the boggart closet.

Because I suck at maths (and therefore at using /e time to tell how far apart from my time server time is). What timezone is server time?

Get on the server and type /e time, that will display the time in server time. The time zone is arizona time, which doesn't obey daylight savings, so the conversion will change depending on what time of year it is. It's easiest to verify with /e time than to guess, and if in doubt, show up early.

I tried doing the conversion with the /e time and I got 6am. I'm relieved that it isn't 6am; 2pm is much more manageable.
Thanks!

Yendys & Charity, '/e time' will give you the current in-game/in-character time, similar to using your pocket watch on your character. When we refer to Server Time, we're referring to Pacific Time Zone where the server is located. You don't have to try and do math, there are plenty of lazy ways for this to be easily checked. Now that you know it is located in Arizona, you can simply Google 'Arizona Time Now' and you will receive this lovely thing: https://www.google.com/#q=arizona+time+nowOr, for the in-game command, you need to use: /e server time

Calan changed it apparently, /e time used to return server time and there was no way to get the current IG precise time without using the watch item. I am not deserving of a facepalm because my information was accurate as of two months ago, and there was no way I could know that he had actually implemented it. I'm surprised you knew, have you spent a lot of time reading /e help menus lately?

LOL, no wonder I got confused if /e time is the time in NWN.

Some corrections:
"/e time" will give current IG time
"/e server time" will give current server time, which is NOT Pacific time, but Mountain Standard time, and it does NOT observe Daylight Savings time. This means that it is Mountain Standard (Same as Pacific Daylight).
We don't need a sticky because all you need to do is type "/e help"
