In response, Professor McGongall ordered the school on lockdown for the night, closing floo travel from Hogwarts and locking all exits from the castle until sunrise.

With new Quidditch teams having been selected, and the start of the years tournament looming, most people had largely written off Ravenclaw, the other house teams considering Ravenclaw easy to beat this year largely due to what most considered a surprising decision in selecting the young and very small Prosper Eversong as seeker, who's love for singing and delicate nature had initially lent few to associate him to sports.

Infact there had been a few quiet sniggers by watchers on of the practice sessions as he struggled about on a battered old school broomstick, with claims from the sidelines that they could fly faster backwards!

However, this afternoon, a small high voice was heard regularly squealing it's delight from afar and a tiny student spent several hours on a broomstick lapping the school grounds at a terrific pace, occasionally spotted whilst flashing past a window.

A rumour spreads that a large Owl delieved a shiny new Nimbus 2001 to young Mr. Eversong in the great hall at lunchtime from an anonymous benefactor, and that Pip has been seen attending detention for over a week since:

Some say for causing such a lot of noise and nuisance whilst flying,
Some say for missing class that afternoon.

All we know is, he's called "the Pip"!

MLE Officers Trin Brinson and Tom Summers visited the school today, appearing to be on urgent business as well as a little bit turned around. Rumor has it they were escorted by Professor McGonagall to the headmaster's office, so whatever business they were here on must have been serious!

Hagrid had a class with weird paper hoarding, fire breathing bunnies. For Valentine's Day, apparently. And he lost all of them in the Forbidden Forest too. Some have been seen around the school lately and there seem to be more of them than before. Are they breeding?

Chandler Mallory is just really good at evading getting the blame placed on him, multiple stories do have him coming from the dungeons no more then half and hour before the poisoning took place. He was also on good spirits as he did so he is clearly the true villain here.

Madam Pince called Hagrid up to the library and spent some time supervising him with an annoyed look on her face as he boarded up holes in the walls. She then cast several protective spells over the books. What on earth did Hagrid do?

Some time later Hagrid was seen going into the forest with a pile of old books that looked like he had dug them out of the garbage heap. Does he have a secret reading stash in there?
